Ask a questionDo I need to be pre-approved before we look at homes?
Ideally, yes. Pre-approval tells us your true budget and makes your offer credible to sellers. If you don’t have a lender yet, I can introduce trusted ones who work in Korean and English.
How much does it cost to work with a buyer’s agent?
Representation and compensation are set out in a written agreement before we tour homes, so there are no surprises. In many transactions the seller agrees to cover some or all of it — we’ll go through the options clearly before you commit to anything.
How long does it take to buy a home?
The search can take a few weeks to a few months depending on inventory and how specific your criteria are. Once an offer is accepted, a financed purchase typically closes in about 30 to 45 days.
What are closing costs for buyers?
Lender fees, title, escrow and prepaid taxes and insurance — in California that usually adds up to roughly 2–3% of the price. You’ll get a written estimate before you make an offer.
